We facilitated a Team Building event at Manor Park earlier today between 2 local employers – Madisson Clarke a claims management company and Jack Badger a team of traditional  joiners.  Both teams had a great time with Jack Badger ending up the winners 77 – 53.

As the weather improves it’s time to be thinking of getting outside and a very nice way to spend some time in the fresh air with purpose and company is Crown Green Bowling. Everyone is welcome and we especially welcome anyone experiencing problems with their mental health. If you would like to discuss anything or find out more about the sessions you will find Mick’s contact details on the poster below.

Regrettably, due to the weather we are having to cancel the Big Bowls event that was due to take place on Sunday 26th May.

The club is always happy for members of the public to turn up to try bowls on our Sunday and Tuesday social bowling sessions which take place between 10 – 11.30 am

Well done to both Luke Jones & Anne Donoghue at Manor Park tonight who were presented with the trophy after being voted as North Derbyshire Players of the Year.

The competition will commence from 1st June, so please let us know whether you wish to participate no later than 31st May. The entry fee for the competition is a one off fee of £2.

Once we have done the draw you simply need to contact your opponent and play the match on a date/time convenient to you both.

If we get enough competitors we will hold both a Male and Female competition.

Crown Green Bowling at Manor Park

Join us at Manor Park Bowling Club every Sunday and Tuesday 10 am – 11.30 am

Starting from Sunday 7th April to September 2024

Free membership for new social members. Just £2 per session including refreshments.

Both green have been cut and although there is still some work to do before the first league match in April, we are pleased to announce that the greens will open on Saturday 23rd March.

With the green due to re-open on 23rd March the club is looking for help in developing bowling opportunities for our members and potential members over the season.
