Well done to Tiami, Jackie and David on winning the K Dodd, Triples Comp on 1st October. The weather was terrible but I think everyone had a good time. Thanks to Mick and Joyce for organising. All the poor souls who turned up and got drenched.
Longdendale Team Going Up
Our Saturday Longdendale team are celebrating promotion to Division 2 after the final two games of the season put them in second place of Division 3. Well done to the team and especially our Captain Luke Jones.
Stockport Vets team are Promoted
Well done to the Stockport Vets team who secured promotion to Division B for next season by beating Crown 1 by 83 – 44 points.

Payment must be made asap but ideally by 19 September 2023 to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or cash. The preferred method of payment is by bank transfer. Please contact us for our bank details.
If you pay by cheque put it in the letterbox in the club room with the name and number of tickets on the envelope. If you don’t have access to the club room you can give your cheque to a team captain. Social Bowlers can give their cheque to Joyce at one of the sessions. If you pay by cash please put in the letterbox with your name and number of places.

Manor Park Derby Match
In another thrilling match on 1st August the A team beat the B team 72 – 51.
Well done to both Ed Mountfield and Elizabeth Greenaway from the B team who won their match 21 – 9.
