Joining Us

Why not join us at the club and enjoy crown green bowling throughout the bowling season (April to September). It’s a great way to enjoy an open air sport in very pleasant surroundings whilst meeting a group of friendly and supportive fellow members. We are sure you will enjoy it and as new members you will be made very welcome.

The membership categories are:

Full Member (league team player aged under 60)

Senior Member (league team player aged 60 or over)

Junior Member (league team player aged 16 or under)

Social Member (social or casual bowling)

There are a number of ways of joining the club.

If you have not played the game before and would like to try it out or have played in the past but want to re familiarise yourself with the game, why not come long to one of the twice weekly introduction and training sessions (from 10.00am Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the season). Bowls are provided and training is available to get you started or improve your existing skills. Initial sessions are free and you are not obliged to join the club to avail yourself of these initial sessions.

Alternatively just contact us (see the Contacts page for details) and we will get back to you to discuss the best way forward for you.

If you are an experienced bowler and wish to join the club as either a full member or social member then please contact us for an application form (we can email this to you). Complete the form and return it to the Membership Secretary (or bring it along to a training session or to a home match session). As an alternative why not come along to one of the above training sessions or come along to a home match and speak to one of the team captains who can introduce you and get you started.

The cost of club membership is as follows:-

Full/Senior/Junior Members (Registered to play in league games) – £25 per year
Social Members (Registered to use the greens throughout the season) – £12 per year

If you are a member of an organisation that is considering introducing crown green bowling as an activity then please contact the Club Secretary who can advise you on the best way of achieving this with the support of the club.
