Tension was in the air tonight when Manor Parks A and B teams played one another in the High Peak Mixed Pairs League. The B team scored a credible 73 points which has been a winning score in the past, but they were pipped to the post by the A team who scored the maximum 84 points.
Well done to Julie Bradbury and Neal Linsky, winners of the David Collier Memorial Trophy – Round Robin Coronation Competition which took place on Monday 8th May 2023. (pictured below right)
Celebrate in true bowling style with this once in a lifetime event the Manor Park Bowling Coronation Triples Competition Open to All Members on Bank Holiday Monday 8th May 2023. Draw at 10.30am prompt and competition starts at 11am. Please wear red, white or blue tops, coats etc.. Tea, coffee and cakes available on day. Bring along your Coronation Inspired cakes for us to try.
Our twice weekly social bowling events start on Tuesday 18th April and Sunday 23rd April between 10 – 11.30 am and continue throughout the season. So come along to Manor Park Bowling Club and try your hand at bowling. We are a friendly club with many members of all ages and we will make you welcome. The bowling green is open for all Manor Park Bowing Club members from Saturday 25 March 2023. Take care as weather has been very wet.
There is a ‘Turn Up and Practice” session on Saturday 1 April 2023 from 11am – 1pm. Open to all members. Tea, Coffee and biscuits available. Have a friendly game or practice. Equipment available for those who need it.
